  • Q What is the best exercise to build up my chest?
  • A The primary exercises used to build the muscles of the chest are the chest press, dumbbell flye and press-up; all of which have many variations. However, it is very important to remember that you should not focus solely on one single body part because strengthening a muscle or group of muscles and neglecting others will lead to postural imbalances and/or injury. Hence if you are looking to build up your chest, exercises for the upper back should also be included to balance out your chest training, so that you remain upright and have correct posture.
