  • A Resistance training should be a part of everyone's health and fitness programme so that strength is maintained and posture is good. For most people, two sessions of approximately 45 minutes each per week, targeting all the main muscle groups around the body is sufficient to maintain and also build strength. With one session per week, you can still maintain fitness but the longer gap between each session will mean that your gains are much smaller. Less than one session per week will not appreciably contribute to your health and fitness.
