  • A Similar to your warm-up, your cool-down should take approximately ten minutes and should consist of progressively lighter cardiovascular exercise which will safely return your blood pressure and heart rate to pre-exercise levels and also help limit any post-exercise soreness. Always include flexibility exercises after your cool-down, focusing upon the main muscles that you've used during your workout, which will similarly help reduce any stiffness the following day and also help prevent injury.
