  • Q I wear gloves for my colder runs but I find that my hands rapidly overheat and get uncomfortable. What should I do?
  • A Keeping the extremities warm during cold conditions is very important, but as you warm up during your run you may feel that gloves aren't necessary. If wearing gloves doesn't appeal to you, look for one of the new running tops that have extra-long sleeves. With these tops, you can tuck your hands into the specialised ends of the sleeves at the start when you're cold, and then turn the cuff over to revert back to a standard running top when you've warmed up.
