  • Q I suffer from a medical condition. How can I alert the organisers in case of emergency?
  • A Medical personnel are situated at numerous points around the course in case any runners get into difficulty or need medical assistance. To help medical staff treat you correctly in case of an emergency, fill in the section on the reverse of your running number where you can write details of your condition and advise of any action to take should you fall ill. Make sure when you complete this section that you use an indelible pen so that the information doesn't get washed off by rain or sweat. Additionally, put a red cross on the front of your race number, which will alert the organisers should an emergency occur.
