  • Q How much training do I need to do for a triathlon?
  • A With triathlons, the more you put in the more you can get out, and with three sports the preparation you can do is endless. If you are limited for time then tailor your training sessions for maximum benefit from each session. You need to start with doing at least a swim, cycle and run a week, otherwise the progression will be very slow. As a bare minimum, around 8 hours of training a week should be sufficient to get you around your first race.
