  • Q How do I know if I’m good enough to take part in a triathlon?
  • A Triathlon is a mass participation sport for all abilities. Events will often have professionals in the race and at the other end of the scale participants who may be struggling to make the cut off time. If you are planning on taking part in a full triathlon or even an Ironman, then try and find a short novice triathlon to see how you get on. From your training you should have a fair idea of how you might perform. Try to match the distance of the triathlon during your training week to see how it feels, and so long as you can get around you’ll be absolutely fine to finish a triathlon.
